News team Jodi has an insatiable passion to connect with people and get ‘the story’.

After doing color commentary for almost every family vacation, since the age of 8, I came to the conclusion I was destined to be a Television News-gal. After graduating with a degree in Broadcast Communications, I followed that dream. It led me from Albany, and Elmira, New York, to Scranton Pennsylvania and then to the number one Television News market: The Big Apple! I’ve had the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life, from ZZ Top to Presidential Hopefuls, including: Rick Santorum, former Vice President Dick Cheney, U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, 2004 Presidential candidate, John Kerry, and Space Shuttle Commander Eileen Collins.

But after nearly a decade of News, I wanted to break out into the Acting and Hosting scenes, two of my many passions. That wish soon became a reality, after being hired as the Host of a political show called “Meet the Leaders”. I also enjoyed other projects such as commercial voice-overs. Additionally, I studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in N.Y.C.; was a member of Actors Project in N.Y.C. (a sketch comedy group), and starred in my first Independent Film in February 2006. Later that year, I covered New York’s Republican Convention in Long Island at Hafstra University. For a short time, I was doing the bi-coastal-thing; living in California, and flying back to New York for work assignments, but it wasn’t exactly family-friendly.

As a result, I decided to take a first hand look into the Healthcare Industry. Subsequently, I took a job as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at Eli Lilly, for almost three years. Shortly thereafter, I went back to school to pursue a Graduate Degree in Education. I recently finished my Master’s program at the University of Southern California. Now, I promote cutting-edge Healthcare Software (Epic); for Private Practice doctors.
